Edible Madison is a publication promoting sustainable food and agriculture in Wisconsin and stories of the human beings behind the movement.

Through collaboration with the publication’s team, I manage the design, layout, and print production of the quarterly food magazine, Edible Madison. Additionally, I’ve created illustrations, photographed portraits, food, and dining for stories, and designed print and digital marketing materials. In January 2024, I assumed the position of Graphic Designer as an independent creative.

Edible Madison Spring 2024 is the tenth issue I worked on for Forager Publishing and the first issue I worked on as an independent creative. From start to finish, the process for each issue includes page planning for story and advertisement placement, layout and design, three rounds of proofing, and final production of print and digital materials.

Cook at Home: Kids in the Kitchen

For this edition's "Cook at Home" feature, I curated a comprehensive page plan encompassing the layout and design elements for both written content and photography. This blueprint was then collaboratively shared with Sunny Frantz, the photographer for the feature. By providing this structured page plan, the Edible Madison team aimed to optimize the photography production process and enhance overall workflow efficiency.
